In 2007, she also founded the Global Angel Charity Organization, which provides financial assistance to families in crisis needing medical transportation. They are a group of dedicated and allied Professionals who are committed to enhancing the quality of life. In supporting the cost of medical transport they are assisting persons of all ages and illnesses to access approved care, treatment and special wishes. The Premier's Awards honor the important social and economic contribution college graduates make in Ontario and throughout the WORLD. The Awards, formed in 1992, to mark the 25th Anniversary of Ontario's Colleges, administered by College's of Ontario. Presented annually in 6 categories, the recipients are chosen from nominations submitted by Ontario's 24 colleges. Nominees must demonstrate outstanding career success related to their college experience and have made a significant contribution to their community. 6 have been nominated this year for the Premier's Award for College Graduates and our very own Peterborough gal, Gail Courneyea is one of those hard-working and deserving graduates, that carries this prestigious nomination.
The winners will be announced Monday, Nov. 27, at a gala in Toronto.

I organized 2 fantastic local Muskoka musicians, Jessica Ross from Peterborough and superstar Kaitlin Kozell to perform at a function, and they donated proceeds to this Peterborough charity organization, which is part of a global team that makes a difference in the lives of many, just like founder Gail has.
