TRIUMPH Shares Their 40th Anniversary of US Festival California.

Thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing back to the good ole rock n roll days of 1983.  We got to come together virtually from the comfort of our homes, with 1 thing in mind, our love of TRIUMPH, who, tonight, May 25, 2023, invited the world to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their performance at the US Festival in California, that dated back to May 29, 1983.  Fans from as far away as Japan and Australia tuned in and got to chat with 1000s of like-minded Triumph fans alongside Mike, Gil, and Rik, as well.

Us Festival was a free concert that was held from May 28-30, 1983 at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, California.  This event saw well over 500,000 in attendance.  Of those 500,000, on Metal Day (Sunday, May 29), the audience was consumed with over 350,000 in attendance who battled the hottest temps in US history, all just to witness a lineup of historic talent alongside Triumph was Van Halen, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Joe Walsh, and Motley Crue.

Triumph truly mesmerizes to this day as they approach 5 decades since it all began.  They remain committed to helping shape the music realm, while impacting a multitude of lives both the listener and the musician, leading the way for 100s of thousands of artists since the late 70s early 80s.

Bringing their brilliance forward, almost like a back to the future moment in time, closed my eyes and listened with my heart, it teleported us back in time.  Kicking the event off with Too Much Thinking while bringing the masses to the Allied Forces, so they could Lay It On The Line as they encouraged us to Never Surrender the Magic Power of music inside A World of Fantasy.  Triumph's Rock & Roll Machine gave us strength, love, and hope for When The Lights Go Down, we are to continue to always Fight The Good Fight.

Thank you, Gil, Mike, and Rik, for including The Wire MEGAzine, this evening!

Much love, adoration, and respect always, your fans, Deb & Kevin.
