October 5th, 1st Annual Nostalgia Con Toronto, what a day. I had the honor, along side of my bff, Arlene Belanger, to sit with music icon, Bill Welychka of MuchMusic fame who is also a #1 TOP 10 Best Selling Author with his debut memoir, A Happy Has Been www.billwelychka.ca We got to share the entrance way with my idols, Degrassi. Got to remeet Pasquale Mastroianni known professionally as Pat Mastroianni, and fondly as Joe Jeremiah of Degrassi series. This was a first to meet Canadian actor and director Snake or Degrassi New Generation's Mr. Simpson, Stefan Brogren, along with the beautiful bouquets of the group, the women of the nostalgic tour. What a thrill to meet the longest working original cast member of Degrassi Street through New Generation, professionally know as Stacie Mistysyn and fondly as Caitlin. Then, I got to finally meet Canadian actresses SPIKE aka Christine Nelson and Tessa F'N Campanelli known as Kirsten Bourne. This was one childhood bucket list checked off again and again with a final hug from Pat and Stefan. Great memory thanks guys. Much success in 2025, keep that magic of OUR youth alive!!!
