An exceptional writer, vocalist and performer, Amanda Keeles uses a Country music canvas splashed with Classic Rock and colours of Pop to communicate emotion and experience, blend genres, and flow between tempo to reveal exactly who she is. Releasing her debut album, "Can't Stop Me Now!" in early 2024, and currently on tour across Ontario, Keeles has already made significant waves across the Canadian media landscape. She's graced platforms like SiriusXM's "Top of The Country" and CTV News London, and soared to the #5 spot on the Canadian Country Indie Top 100 chart. Her music has found a home on over 50 radio stations in Canada and many more globally, while her social media following organically surged to 17,000 followers before her first year was up. Keeles joined forces with acclaimed Canadian Country music talents for her debut release, including producer Johnny Gasparic, a Grammy and Canadian Country Music Award (CCMA) nominee, along with CCMA and JUNO Award-winning musicians Justin Kudding, Chris Byrne, Joey McIntyre, Keith Floen, Therry Lawson, and Calgary artist Bill Blayney. Together they brought Keeles debut album, "Can't Stop Me Now!", to life at MCC Recording Studio, a recipient of the prestigious CCMA Studio of the Year award five times over. Fresh off of the release of her debut album this year, Keeles has just released a brand new single from the project, titled "His Perception", a Classic Rock infused Country song about the power of perspective, and hindsight. "His Perception" was released on Friday, May 10 2024.

"His Perception" was written and performed by Amanda Keeles, and was recorded at MCC Recording Studio in Calgary, AB. The track was produced by Johnny Gasparic who also contributed guitar and vocals to the song. Additional musicians on the track include Chris Byrne (The Road Hammers), Joey McIntyre, Keith Floen, Therry Lawson, and Bill Blayney.

 "His Perception":
A song about the belief in fate, "His Perception" is a fusion of Country and Classic Rock that employs well-crafted storytelling to underscore the importance of perspective when faced with adversity. Inspired by a conversation about the dearth of songwriting from a male viewpoint, Keeles, who typically draws from personal experiences in her songwriting, challenged herself to adopt a male perspective and crafted "His Perception". The track kicks off with a full, Eagles-esque introduction, featuring rich and complementary instrumentation that recedes as Keeles' ribbon-like voice takes centre stage. The verses recount tales of apparent setbacks in both career and romance, concluding with revelations that the protagonist was oblivious to: the anticipated job promotion would have been short-lived due to an imminent business closure, and the woman he pursued harboured undisclosed deal-breaking secrets. "His Perception" enchants listeners with its captivating vocals, an unforgettable guitar solo, and a seamless blend of Country and Classic Rock elements, serving as a poignant reminder that appearances can be deceiving. The song also showcases a new facet of Keeles' remarkable, fearless spirit, as it marks the first instance of her crafting a song not drawn directly from personal experiences. "His Perception" stands as a testament to Keeles' versatility and depth as a songwriter, offering
listeners a powerful narrative and a fresh perspective on life's twists and turns

"This song is all about perception, that everything happens for a reason. Even when it doesn't seem like it, there's a silver lining - something is always protecting you."Amanda Keeles
