REVIEW: CCMAs London 2016

STAYING IN TUNE with
The 40th Anniversary CCMA Awards
London, Ontario-September 11th, 2016
Kira Isabella and Cold Creek County Wire Award Winners appeared on The 2016 CCMA Awards John Deere Green Carpet and said "Hey Wire MEGAzine"

2014 Wire MEGAzine Award Winners
Cold Creek County at the 2016 CCMA Awards

Volunteer Team CCMA Awards/The Wire Megazine-Mary L Bass attended the explosive CCMA Award Show Countdown Concert, at London Ontario's Market Square on Sunday, September 11th, from 3:00pm – 4:30pm on the Fanshawe College and downtown London stage hosted by Country 104 and here is her low down. The opening acts for the 2016 CCMA'S were amazing. The toe tapping, high energy was just perfect. The Lovelocks did an amazing job on Cindy Lauper's song Time after time. The River Town Saints very interactive, with a party personality got the crowd... a little more lively. Had a hoot watching The Washboard Union awesome stage show with a unique use of a washboard. The party continued with Lindsay Eli and her new single "All Right" she is an amazing young talent. Wes Mack kept the beat and tone hopping. His voice really hits you hope to see more of him on the future. The last performance was Bobby Wills he's got a great stage show, hypnotic voice he will definitely be one to keep an eye on. London was the perfect setting for the 2016 CCMA'S congratulations to all the winners and nominees.

TRIPLE the 1sts.  CCMA Awards, The Wire MEGAzine's & Deb Draper's 1st CCMA Awards in London, Ontario.  Deb Draper volunteer and 2nd half of Team CCMA Awards/The Wire Megazine, was chosen for 2 posts on September 11th at the 40th Annual CCMA Awards on the John Deere Green Carpet-hosted by Today's Country BX93.
Placed in the 1st position (the entrance) as Scrum-to interview the stars, however, turned it down to perform at the photo wall to capture the stars in their finest of gowns/leather dress jackets and variety of head wear. Everyone looked elegant and extremely happy to meet their fans. You could feel the love when you heard the sea of screaming adoring fans, as they lined the Fan Zone bleachers surrounding the John Deere Green Carpet area. It was a beautiful day except for the searing heat, as oodles of sunshine pounded down. I was honored to attend to capture nominees and winners alike and to capture Peterborough/Kawartha's very own Kira Isabella nominated for FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR, and Cold Creek County who were nominated for GROUP/DUO OF THE YEAR & RISING STAR and my dear childhood friend-Muskoka's own Deric Ruttan nominated for SONGWRITER(S) OF THE YEAR – Presented by olĂ© & RECORD PRODUCER(S) OF THE YEAR. Musicians, comedians, actors and TV stars adorned the walk in celebration of a year of fabulous dedication to their musical crafts, recognition for a job well done. I did not attend the awards, however, I have included the entire list of nominees and winners of the 40th Anniversary 2016 CCMA Awards held at the Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario September 11th, hosted by CBC TV personality Jessi Cruikshank (The Goods) for the second year in a row.  We acknowledge the financial support of FACTOR, the Government of Canada and of Canada’s private radio broadcasters
